Generating AdSense Revenue Through RSS Feeds and Blogs

The world of the internet is one of constant change, and RSS feeds and blogs are two of the newest and most exciting opportunities for
garnering additional AdSense revenue. RSS, short for Really Simple Syndication, has been gaining enormous popularity on the internet, and more and more webmasters are including RSS feeds on their site.

RSS is an XML document format used to store and organize news type content from various places into one easy source. RSS is somewhat similar to what newswires do, or to the crawler that appears at the bottom of many newscasts and 24 hour cable news channels. Many of the news items found on the typical news web site may have come through RSS feeds.

Google now has a program targeted directly at RSS. This program is known as AdSense for RSS and it offers a number of interesting
options for making an additional revenue stream. It is important to note that specific policies apply to this program, and all
guidelines must be followed in order to derive any benefit from this new program.

In addition to RSS, blogs provide yet another potential stream of revenue. Blogs are in some ways similar to RSS feeds except that these blogs generally have one author instead of the many sources used to create the RSS feeds.

Blogs, or web logs, are simple web sites where users can write content, articles and opinion pieces on virtually any subject. Users access these types of resources to share stories, pictures and opinions. The public at large is invited to view this content and in many cases provide additional comments as well.

All this content of course means that they can be a prime source for targeted AdSense ads. In fact it can be easier to generate revenue from AdSense using blogs than using traditional web pages, in theory anyway.

Blogs have a number of important advantages over traditional web sites when it comes to generating AdSense revenue and getting viewers to click on those ads. For one thing blogs are rich in content, and most of that content is original. In addition, the content is generally friendly both in terms of human visitors and in terms of Google's search algorithms. This can make it easier for a bog site to be approved for participation in Google's AdSense program.

In addition, Google's AdSense program works best with those web sites that have already been indexed by Google. Since blogs are indexed much more easily indexed than traditional web pages it is easier for Google AdSense to target ads more effectively as the content changes.

In addition to all these advantages, blogs can be created must more cost effectively than traditional web sites, making them a good choice for a first foray into the world of Google AdSense.

Online Business Surveys

Do you have a list of e-mail addresses of your customers or prospects?
Do you have a list of e-zine subscribers?
If you have their permission, send them an e-mail survey to conduct market research. See if customers are satisfied with your products or services, or see if they enjoyed their visit at your web site.

You can learn things you didn't know about your business by surveying. Maybe your customers buy your main product just to get the free gifts. Your visitors may think it's to hard to navigate through your web site. You may find out that most of your customers make over $100,000 a year. By knowing this type of important information you can improve your web site, products/services, advertising, and marketing.

Most Popular Types Online Business Surveys:

Customer Satisfaction Surveys - what did you like or dislike about our product or service, what can we improve or add, how satisfied are you with our customer service, etc.

Web Site Feedback Surveys - did you find it to easy navigate through our site, did you find the information you wanted, what did you like or dislike about the site, how did you find our site, etc.

Demographic Surveys - what's your gender, age, income, occupation, marital status, etc.

Sometimes people don't want to take the time to fill out a survey. To encourage them to fill out the survey offer them a freebie if they fill it out. Some ideas are free ebooks, free advertising, free reports, free internet services or a free e-zine. Hold a free online contest or sweepstakes and ask visitors to fill out a survey before they enter.

If you don't yet have an e-mail address list you could post your survey on appropriate newsgroups, forums and e-mail discussion lists. You could also upload survey software to your web site or use a free survey service on the internet.
To find such services just type in the keyword "survey" in your search engine of choice.

Viral Marketing Principles

Dave and Aaron wrote to me.

One of the best ways to build a subscriber list quickly is to make use of viral marketing principles.

For those of you who don't know what "viral marketing" is, let us reassure you it has NOTHING to do with those
nasty little programs that wreak havoc with your computer causing all sorts of problems.

Having said this, there ARE some similarities in that those nasty little programs replicate themselves very
quickly spreading to literally thousands of computers in a matter of hours.

Viral marketing is one of the most potent weapons you can possibly use to literally EXPLODE your
list and your business. It's responsible for generating us thousands and thousands of additional subscribers
over the past couple of year or so.

Simply put...

Viral marketing is a marketing strategy that encourages people to pass along YOUR messages to others in order
to generate added exposure for your business.

Here's a VERY BASIC overview of how to setup a BASIC viral marketing campaign using a simple viral report:

Create a useful and informative report (you can even start by using a good quality Private Label product as
a base to work from - or outsource it if you are not up to it yourself)

Add some "brandable" links into the report (perhaps referencing some relevant recommended resources)

Create a small and relevant "advert" for your own business so that readers will visit your site and
hopefully subscribe to your newsletter.

Turn it into a PDF and start giving it away.

Make sure you clearly state that your readers can freely give away your report.

Within a short period of time, assuming you've done everything correctly, you'll have a LOT more traffic
coming to your websites and hopefully more sales!

HOT TIP....

To really make sure you get as many people on your list as possible, why not get them to join your
autoresponder in order to download the branding tool?

This is a win-win because they get a high quality report that they can give away to their list (and
even potentially earn commissions from) and YOU get additonal subscribers to your list.

Try these tactics and we're POSITIVE you will be blown away by the results.

Be sure to let us know how you go by leaving a comment on our blog!

That's all for today.

Have a great week!

Your friends,

Applying For A Loan

Applying for a Loan
===================

When applying for a loan, you must prepare a written loan proposal. Make your best presentation in the initial loan proposal and application. You may not get a second opportunity.

Always begin your proposal with a cover letter or executive summary. Clearly and briefly explain who you are, your business background, the nature of your business, the amount and purpose of your loan request, your requested terms of repayment, how the funds will benefit your business, and how you will repay the loan. Keep this cover page simple and direct.

Many different loan proposal formats are possible. You may want to contact your commercial lender to determine which format is best for you. When writing your proposal, don't assume the reader is familiar with your industry or your individual business. Always include industry-specific details so your reader can understand how your particular business is run and what industry trends affect it.

Description of Business:

Provide a written description of your business, including the following information:

> Type of organization
> Date of Information
> Location
> Product or Service
> Brief history
> Proposed Future Operation
> Competition
> Customers
> Suppliers

Management Experience: Resumes of each owner and key management members.

Personal Financial Statements: SBA requires financial statements for all principal owners (20% or more) and guarantors. Financial statements should not be older than 90 days. Make certain that you attach a copy of last year's federal income tax return to the financial statement.

Loan Repayment: Provide a brief written statement indicating how the loan will be repaid, including repayment sources and time requirements. Cash-flow schedules, budgets, and other appropriate information should support this statement.
Existing Business: Provide financial statements for at least the last three years, plus a current dated statement (no older than 90 days) including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and a reconciliation of net worth. Aging of accounts payable and accounts receivables should be included, as well as a schedule of term debt. Other balance sheet items of significant value contained in the most recent statement should be explained.

Proposed Business: Provide a pro-forma balance sheet reflecting sources and uses of both equity and borrowed funds.

Projections: Provide a projection of future operations for at least one year or until positive cash flow can be shown. Include earnings, expenses, and reasoning for these estimates. The projections should be in profit & loss format. Explain assumptions used if different from trend or industry standards and support your projected figures with clear, documentable explanations.

Other Items As They Apply:

Lease (copies of proposal)
Franchise Agreement
Purchase Agreement
Articles of Incorporation
Plans, Specifications
Copies of Licenses
Letters of Reference
Letters of Intent
Contracts
Partnership Agreement

Collateral: List real property and other assets to be held as collateral. Few financial institutions will provide non-collateral based loans. All loans should have at least two identifiable sources of repayment. The first source is ordinarily cash flow generated from profitable operations of the business. The second source is usually collateral pledged to secure the loan.

The 5 C's of Credit

Your bank is in business to make money. Consequently, when a bank lends money it wants to ensure that it will be paid back. The bank must consider the 5 "C's" of Credit each time it makes a loan.

Capacity to repay is the most critical of the five factors. The prospective lender will want to know exactly how you intend to repay the loan. The lender will consider the cash flow from the business, the timing of the repayment, and the probability of successful repayment of the loan. Payment history on existing credit relationships - personal and commercial - is considered an indicator of future payment performance. Prospective lenders also will want to know about your contingent sources of repayment.

Capital is the money you personally have invested in the business and is an indication of how much you will lose should the business fail. Prospective lenders and investors will expect you to contribute your own assets and to undertake personal financial risk to establish the business before asking them to commit any funding. If you have a significant personal investment in the business you are more likely to do everything in your power to make the business successful.

Collateral or guarantees are additional forms of security you can provide the lender. If the business cannot repay its loan, the bank wants to know there is a second source of repayment. Assets such as equipment, buildings, accounts receivable, and in some cases, inventory, are considered possible sources of repayment if they are sold by the bank for cash. Both business and personal assets can be sources of collateral for a loan. A guarantee, on the other hand, is just that - someone else signs a guarantee document promising to repay the loan if you can't. Some lenders may require such a guarantee in addition to collateral as security for a loan.

Conditions focus on the intended purpose of the loan. Will the money be used for working capital, additional equipment, or inventory? The lender will also consider the local economic climate and conditions both within your industry and in other industries that could affect your business.

Character is the personal impression you make on the potential lender or investor. The lender decide subjectively whether or not you are sufficiently trustworthy to repay the loan or generate a return on funds invested in your company. Your educational background and experience in business and in your industry will be reviewed. The quality of your references and the background and experience of your employees will also be considered.

Online Business Ideas

Online Business Ideas
---------------------

1. Ask people to find a hidden link in your ad copy. If they find the hidden link tell them they will get a prize or freebie by clicking on it. This will increase the chance that they will buy your product or service because they will read your
whole ad copy.

2. Start a members only web site. Tell visitors what's in your members only site and what it costs to get access. Offer them a free membership, if, in exchange they link to your web site, post your banner on their homepage or agree to advertise
your website in their e-zine for a set period of time. Usually they will agree to the free advertising to save money. This is a powerful way to get free advertising.

3. Want a popular discussion board? This technique is based on the number of postings made by any one person. You could give away a free product or service to any person that posts ten or more messages on your discussion in a month. It could be a free e-book, report, e-mail consulting etc. Just keep track of everyone's postings each month. This could also work for e-mail discussion lists.

4. Give your visitors an instant article directory. Tell your visitors they can instantly add a free article directory to their web site by linking to yours. Just place your ad or banner ad on top of the article directory for your main product or
service. All those links can add up to a large amount of traffic for your website.

5. There are millions of web sites on the internet. Instead of marketing your web site as a web site. Market it as a free web book. Design your web site with a title page, table of contents, chapters, etc. Just place your ad or banner for your product or service on the top of each web page.

How To Get Traffic to Your Blog

You’ve put a lot of work into your blog, and you put more and more in every day. But without traffic to your blog, no one’s the wiser. Use these tips to get more traffic to your blog.

>> Do your SEO and keyword research homework.
Make sure the HTML of your site is search engine friendly. Here’s a basic search engine optimization checklist:
• Do your post titles have appropriate keywords?
• Do your anchor links have keywords in them? Using “here” as a link is a missed opportunity.
• Does your domain name include a primary keyword?

>> Submit your site to engines like Google, Yahoo, Dmoz, MSN and Looksmart, and to the blog directories. Here are some sites that offer free blog listings:

Blog Search http://www.blog-search.com/blogclicker-submission.html

Technorati http://www.technorati.com/

Bloglines http://www.bloglines.com/

Blogdex http://blogdex.net/

Blogwise http://www.blogwise.com/

WeBlogALot http://www.weblogalot.com/

Globe of Blogs http://www.globeofblogs.com/

BlogHop http://www.bloghop.com/

Blogarama http://www.blogarama.com/

>> Ping like you mean it.
This is a way for you to raise your hand to the blog trackers when you’ve posted new content. You can do it site by site at places like Technorati, or go to Ping-o-matic (http://www.pingomatic.com/) and mass-ping your blog to over 20 sites. Make sure your blog is set up to ping the appropriate sites every time you publish a post.

>> Feed your RSS.
Make sure your blog has one and that it’s working. An RSS feed is a bit of XML that allows your blog to push content to RSS readers. That way people don’t have to visit your site to get your latest insights – they just open their RSS reader and read the news. If your blog is at Blogger.com, don’t worry about an RSS feed – its already been created for you. If you’re not at Blogger.com and your current blog doesn’t have RSS functionality, visit Feedcraft.com and sign up for their free service that will set up an RSS feed from any website (blog or not).

>> Swap links.
Make a list of relevant sites you’d love to link to your blog. Write them a short friendly note and offer to let them use a few of your posts as content on their site in exchange for a link back to your site. Also, link to their sites from within one of your posts. Be sure to offer to exchange links in the links section of your blog. Most blog software programs offer this. There are also sites that special in helping bloggers swap links. Web Log Empire (http://www.weblogempire.com/) is a large one. If you’re willing to pay for a link to your site, check out Text-Link-Ads (http://www.text-link-ads.com/)

>> Be part of the blogging community.
Go to other blog sites you admire. Contribute to their blogs in ways that add real value. Write good, thoughtful comments that are content rich. Give away what you know. Do it a lot – at least 3 posts a week. Over time you’ll become recognized as someone who has something worthwhile to say. As your reputation grows, people will seek out your blog. This is not an overnight process, but by paying your dues and building an audience you are positioning yourself to become a star. By the way, if your site doesn’t have the functionality for visitors at add comments, Haloscan (http://www.haloscan.com/) is a free service that will let them do so. It also allows for “trackbacking”, which is a way to manage pings.

>> Write your blog! Put everything you’ve got into it. Make it great. Post as frequently as you can. The search engines will note frequent postings. A blog that has a new post every day is obviously considered active. To really make your blog get noticed you’ll need to post at least 2-3 times a week.

Blogging and Pinging

Lately everyone is trying to blog and ping to get their websites indexed into the search engines. Although this is a great tool, all marketers should first understand exactly what they’re getting themselves into before starting.

Since blogs are regularly updated, they tend to carry more value than regular static HTML pages.

>>What is a Ping?

A ping is a program that sends out a brief request for a response from another computer or server. When you ping on the Internet, you send out a program to see if a remote server is responding.

>>How do bloggers use pings?

Pinging is to let the search engines know that you have updated your website so they can send their spiders.

Pinging also update the websites or blogs on the internet who are using your blog on their site.

>> So what is the big deal about blogging and pinging?

Smart affiliate marketers use blogging and pinging to help get their sites crawled and indexed by the search engine spiders a lot quicker than they normally would.

They set up a blog either on their main site or on a sub-domain of their site. They then post links to their product pages on their blog and send out a ping to all the major servers on the Internet.

That ping says "This site has fresh content, time to go add it to your database!" It's a trigger that sends the search spiders looking for updated pages on your site. When they find the new pages, search engines tend to index them much faster.

Blogging and pinging will not get you into EVERY search engine overnight. As of this writing, it is most effective with getting into Yahoo. But often MSN, and even Google, will follow in short order.

Combine blogging and pinging with good link recruiting for the best indexing.

Also, blog and ping on a regular basis if you want to “stay” indexed in the search engines.

>> Is blogging and pinging a requirement to get indexed?

No. You can get indexed quickly by getting plenty of natural backlinks. But for backlinks to be most effective, they have to appear as if they were natural and this can take weeks if not months. Blogging and pinging does seem to drastically shorten the process.

>> Is there a downside to blogging and pinging?

Some marketers are starting to abuse this strategy. But the search engines are getting wise to it! If you go over-board you risk getting your website completely banned and removed.

Many marketers are also blogging and pinging for a few days and then forgetting about the website. Your website will likely be de-indexed if you do not continue to naturally blog and ping.

The bottom line is that blogging and pinging is a great strategy right now to help you get your website indexed faster. However, the old natural way of getting incoming links is still the best and most assured way – not to mention the long-term benefits of having incoming links.

If you have not yet started blogging and pinging, I suggest you start with a practice website first, not your main website.

How to Start an Attractive Affiliate Program

Do you know how to start an attractive affiliate program? Most people don't. That is why they also struggle with their product launches. They might have an excellent product, but they don't know who can sell it for them - and they simply do not have deep enough market penetration to market it completely without help.

Your best bet when considering how to start an attractive affiliate program is to create some type of pre-launch plan, where you approach every possible person who could potentially sell your product as an affiliate. You will then want to offer a generous commission on your product.
Additionally, if your product has a higher price tag, more affiliates will be interested in selling it.

You will also want to create a professional sales page for your product, so that it is actually easy for your affiliates to sell. Additionally, you will want to provide tools your affiliates can use to promote.

Additionally, you will want to approach the following groups to get them to sell your product as an affiliate:

1.Any friends you have who sell similar products. This is definitely the easiest way to sell the value of your product - simply tell a friend who already knows you and knows that you produce high quality work. Ask him/her if he/she is interested in
becoming an affiliate for your launch. Tell him/her you will give him/her a higher.

2.Anyone selling products in your given niche. You might want to scan ClickBank or perform a Google search to get better information to use here.

3.People who you cannot ever imagine being one of your affiliates.
That's right. You might think they're completely out of your range, but if you approach them correctly and actually offer decent benefits and a high commission, they may just decide to work with you.

And there you have it: a quick outline for creating an attractive affiliate program and then finding some affiliates to sell for you.

How To Choose Best Keywords for AdSense

Ever wondered how to select best keywords for your Adsense websites or blogs? Your focus is earning money as well as attracting traffic organic (Traffic from Search Engines) towards your website or blogs.

Here is what you need to know while choosing a keyword, a scientific study that pictures the ideal keywords for your next upcoming adsense website and blogs. And this guide guaanteres to blow your mind.

Lets first study how to choose Keywords that lead to more Adsense money:

CPC (Cost per click) - Advantages and Drawbacks
What CPC indicates?
When we think of high paying keywords, the first thing that pops up in our mind is CPC. CPC is the maximum amount of money an advertiser is willing to pay you for a click. And its believed that - Higher the CPC, higher the payouts you can expect by targeting that keyword in your AdSense websites. You can get most accurate CPC from the source itself - Google.

However CPC is not the only factor that can tell how much profitable a keyword is. There are many other factors that you should consider..

Drawbacks of CPC -
- What if there are no advertisers bidding on a keyword with high CPC? Obviously it means nobody is going to pay you that high for a click.
- What if the traffic on the keyword is technical enough and doesn't click on ads (banner blindness)?
- What if Google gets loads of traffic on that keyword enough to fulfill the desires of high paying advertisers? In this case google will only throw remaining peanuts towards you - most low paying ads.
Obviously Google will like to keep all the high paying ads within its own Network pages as much as possible. So you see, CPC just shows you a small part of the entire picture.

Lets explore the rest part of the picture...

Number of Advertisers - Most important figure :
Keywords with high CPC do not always come with high number of advertisers. There are many keywords in Google's Adwords system which have a very high price but come with almost no or very less number of advertisers. Now if you build a webpage or website around a keyword on which nobody is bidding, obviously google will try to fill the ad blocks with ads of related keywords rather than the high paying keyword you were initially targeting with. There is no guarantee that Ads of related keywords will be as converting for the Advertiser as they could be. So chances are high that your clicks will be passed thru SmartPricing Filter, eventually resulting in lesser payouts.

So, it becomes quite important to see the number of advertisers bidding on the keyword in question. More are the number of advertisers, more is the competition between them to get top position, and more revenue per click they are willing to share with you. In other words - More number of advertisers mean more people are fighting against each other to pay you higher Adsense money.

See You all again sooner..

Tips On Writing Articles..

Tips on writing articles...

From Derrick VanDyke to me (Badleeshah)

1. Don't start from scratch. Find articles that
have already been published - especially the
"featured articles" - those are the most popular.

2. Outline the key points of each article. For
example, if you find an article about blogging
that has four main sections, you could write a similar article with a title like "4 Tips for Blogging Success"

3. Don't spend too much time on each article.
Once you have an outline, just write whatever
comes to mind. Don't worry about grammar or spelling. Just dump your mind into the computer.

4. Go back and edit the article. Read through it one last time and don't be too picky - it doesn't have to be a masterpiece.

The whole process should take 30 minutes or less. IF you don't get distracted and start clicking on links.

Once you get good at this and stay focused, you should be able to write 3 articles in one hour.

Do that each day and you'll have 100 articles submitted in no time.

Hope that helps!

Derrick

Thank You So Much Derrick.
